ANNUAL MITTEN TREE WRAP-UP

Mitten Tree Sunday was held on December 10th!

 

The congregation was invited to bring new mittens, gloves, hats, scarves, or warm socks for men, women, to our 10 am service to decorate our mitten trees. 

​

It was a huge success! Many large and very heavy bags full of hats, mittens, gloves, and scarves were collected! Members and guests of all ages came together to support this time-honored tradition to bring some warmth to those who need it.

 

All the donated items were brought to First Step Inn in Fall River, a homeless shelter for individuals and families that provides residential and outpatient treatment for individuals struggling with substance abuse, addiction, and mental health issues.
