WORSHIP ON SUNDAY, JULY 7, 2024

Join us for Worship this Sunday led by Rev. Jametta O. Alston. We will be livestreaming the service on this Facebook page also at 10 a.m. JOIN US however you can!

 

PASTORAL CARE, PRAYER JOURNALS, AND PRAYER LIST

The Rev. Jametta Alston, our Interim Bridge Minister, will be conducting office hours on Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Minister’s office (not on July 4th). Please be sure to pop in to say hello! She can also be reached by email: revja@amicablechurch.org. Prayer Journals are still located throughout the building for your access.

 

During our services, we welcome prayer requests. These are added to our ongoing prayer list. If you have a request and are not able to join us for in-person worship, please email your request to office@amicablechurch.org.

WORSHIP ON SUNDAY, JULY 14, 2024 – WILL NOT BE HELD AT AMICABLE

We became an Open and Affirming Church because we believe all of God’s creatures need to be loved, respected and affirmed.  Join us, with our sister church, UCC of Little Compton, to sing praises, join hands and thank God for the privilege to do the Lord’s work here on earth. 

 

With singing, praise and prayer, we will celebrate on July 14,2024, at 10:00 a.m. at United Congregational Church of Little Compton, 1 Commons Street, Little Compton, RI, we will meet and celebrate our commitment to all of God’s people, especially those that are forgotten by our society.  

 

HOT WEATHER ASSISTANCE

During the summer, please check in on neighbors and friends who are elderly or infirm and could be endangered by the heat and humidity. Please check in on neighbors and friends who are elderly or infirm and will be endangered by the heat and humidity. The people who watch our recorded worship services also come to mind. They can’t join us in person, but they are connected to our church family.

 

By sharing fans, we can serve others and help them survive. Please email office@amicablechurch.org if you have a fan to share, need one yourself, or know someone who needs one. 

 

We are blessed when we show kindness and compassion to our neighbors. Thank you.

 

WEEKLY FLOWERS FOR THE SANCTUARY

We are accepting flower donations for our weekly services. Please check with Bobi Zeiser for more information and to sign up. Donate to celebrate an occasion or to remember a loved one. Currently, we need flowers for these services: 7/14, 8/04, 8/11, 8/25, 9/01, 9/08, 9/15, 9/22, and 9/29. Thanks~

Summer Hours (Additional Friday openings) will begin again this summer thanks to the dynamic duo of Pat Campion and Kathy Aguiar! Friday openings begin on July 5th until August 30th from noon to 4pm! Thank you, Pat and Kathy!!!!!

 

COFFEE HOUR ASSISTANCE
